Timothy J. SilvermanTimothy J. Silverman is a shareholder with Solomon, Grindle, Silverman & Spinella, a Professional Corporation. Mr. Silverman graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Mr. Silverman earned his degree of Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law where he graduated cum laude. While at the University of San Diego, he was a Comments Editor and member of the San Diego Law Review. Mr. Silverman was also a member of the Trial Lawyers Association Trial Competition Team. Mr. Silverman has published an article in the San Diego Law Review entitled "The Effect of a Petition for Decertification on the Bargaining Process: The Reversal of Dresser Industries" which analyzed labor/management bargaining issues. Mr. Silverman specializes in creditor's rights and representation of financial institutions including all aspects of bankruptcy, commercial/consumer, leasing and real property litigation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Silverman also specializes in the representation of financial institutions which emphasize Small Business Administration lending. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Silverman was a neurochemistry research and marketing specialist with Research Biochemicals, Inc., in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Silverman is a member of the California State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Commercial and Bankruptcy Sections of the San Diego Bar Association, the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum, the California Credit Union Collector Council, and the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. He has served as legal counsel to The La Jolla Junior Chamber of Commerce. He is licensed to practice in all of the Federal Courts in California as well as in Arizona. Mr. Silverman presents frequent seminars on a variety of topics related to bankruptcy, commercial and real property litigation, as well as loan documentation issues. He resides with his wife and three children in Carlsbad, California. |
